How to you use the 180+ 10 perk?

So, my 180 mark for check in is coming up. I've never made ADRs this early before. How does it work?

Right now if I play around with it on-line(knowing I can't make the ressies yet), it just gives me a message "there is a problem searching for reservations at this time." I'm logged in, so is the "problem" that I'm not within the 180 days? Will it automatically allow me to do it on the 180 day or is there something special I'll need to do that morning.

There is one reservation that I really want to make and I guess my question is: are there any tips or things I need to know so that I can do it on-line as soon as it opens?

Is logging in that morning enough, or is there someplace I need to go to put in my resort confirmation number to access the 180+ reservations?

Also, is there a way to search for the specific restaurant or location you want? It seems like you used to be able to do this and I can't see anything except for really general categories like type of cuisine and price range.
