How to verify Dreams Unlimited reservation at Disney website?

I made a reservation through Dreams Unlimited but I have not paid for it yet. DU sent me a reservation number that I can verify only on their website. They can not give me a reservation number that I can verify on the Disney website. I do not feel comfortable making such a large payment to DU for my trip without verifying with Disney first. Any suggestions?

If an agent books for you, you cannot access the reservation on the Disney site. I use another popular online agency and they forward to me the confirmation sheet Disney faxes to them.

I have done the same for 2 trips through an online travel agent and she has forwarded me the confirmation sheets sent to her through Disney. There isn't any way to check it online for me and when you call Disney CRO they won't discuss the reservation because it was booked through an agent. As long as you have a copy of your confirmation I wouldn't worry about it. The other thing is that I don't know how DU works but all of my payments have been made through my agent directly to Disney so that when they show up on my bank account it is a charge from Disney Travel not the travel company I booked with so I know Disney is getting my money.

Perhaps the online travel company has to do enter it. I say this because I booked my Decmber trip through Mouse Fan Travel and the reservation is available to look at on line on the Disney website. It was there a few days after I booked my trip.

DU can give you the Disney confirmation number. It is not the same as the Dreams reservation number. You can call Disney to verify it but you can't change anything. The money you give Dreams goes directly to Disney.

A - It will depend on what type of vacation you are booking. When you book a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, Room only Reservation or a Disney Cruise Line vacation, your credit card will be charged directly by Disney. If you book a room at one of our many off-property hotel partners, the hotel will charge your card directly.



Q - Are the reservations I make through Dreams Unlimited the same as reservations I would make directly through Disney?

A - Yes. You will receive two confirmation numbers: The Dreams reservation number and the Disney confirmation number.

I asked Dreams Unlimited to send me the Disney confirmation # and below is their response:

Since the reservation was made through the agent site, you won't be able to
view it on the Disney site. You can only see it from the Dreams site. To
view on Dreams site you just need to go to - Dreams Unlimited website.
Enter your Reservation #(xxxxx) and Password (xxxxx) to view the details
of your reservation.

How do I get the Disney confirmation number? Should I just call the CRO and see if they can pull it up by my name?

Ask your Dreams agent for the number.

They told you that you couldn't see it on the Disney website. I suggest asking the agent for the Disney confirmation number that you want to confirm it with them. It shouldn't be a problem.

When you go to DU's "client services" area and click on "review my reservation" it is the conformation number listed on that page...

The DU agent should supply the Disney Confirmation number. If you would like to forward your email from the DU agent to me at John@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com I would be happy to review the situation with the appropriate agent.

Bride in the Attic is correct. Your Disney confirmation number will appear in the 'Review Your Reservation' section of your own personal Client Services area of the Dreams Unlimited Travel website. You can use that number to call Disney and verify your reservation with them.

As others have stated they will not be able to make changes for you, those have to go through your DU agent.
