How to transfer autographs?

This is our first trip and I am not sure how in to getting signatures the kids will be(and its a surprise so I can't ask!) so I am not planning on taking autograph books. Instead I was thinking of taking large plain note cards(spiral bound if I can find it) to get signatures and then transferring the signatures to pillowcases and hand embroidering over them. I know I could bring pillowcases for them to sign but I am not sure I want to lug around 4 plus wait for them to sign 4 pillowcases! Thoughts on how to transfer the signatures to the pillowcases or is this a terrible idea. Does anyone have a better idea? Thanks!

Cute idea. You could scan them into your computer and print them on transfer paper. And with 4 cards you can pick your favorite.
