Hi guys.
I am currently living with a person whom I have to share a washroom with. We have separate rooms, but the washroom is between both rooms. Now I am in now way perfect about cleanliness, but she does not mind if the entire washroom is a big dust, dirt ball. I don't want to sound like I am picking on her, but I have just never lived with someone who doesn't care if they make a mess (i.e. leave tubes of shampoo and conditioner on the floor and not even bother to pick them up). I want to ask her if she could please try to keep the washroom a bit neater (i.e., if she makes a mess please clean it up) and I will do the same. I have been cleaning up her mess and I just cannot do it anymore. I would ask her to her face, but I do not want to offend her or let my anger get the best of me.
I keep telling myself its only 2 more months with her, but I seriously cannot handle it anymore. Would it be appropriate to leave a note kindly asking her to please be a little more tidy? If I am paying $5,500.00 for my room and the washroom I feel like it wouldn't be asking too much. Every time I walk into the washroom I feel (and get) physically sick.
Thank you for your help!
