Is there a resource where you can see what rooms are in each category at a specific resort (garden view, lake view, etc)? Touring Plans is wildly inaccurate in this regard and was wondering if anyone had another resource. Thanks.

The only place that I have seen an accurate map of room categories at a resort are the ones for Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter.

Some of the other resorts my have the maps in their information thread, like the Yacht Club/Beach Club.

Are there specific resorts that you are interested in?

Really? I found them to be pretty accurate all the times I've used them. What resort?

Grand Floridian, TP is really inaccurate for the GF. I just had a lagoon view room couple weeks ago that they have listed as garden view, and many rooms in Boca Chica with an obvious theme park view are listed as lagoon view. Those are just a couple I noticed I’m sure there are more. Basically I want to know if I have a reason to contact the GF about being accidentally downgraded. We were in Sago Cay and looked out at the finger of the lagoon and had a nice monorail view so I thought nothing of it at the time till I got home and looked up our room on TP. I’m sure TP is wrong just looking for a source to double check it.

I get it. I never stayed there, so I'll be no help! If you need some ideas of views for Polynesian or Yacht/Beach, let me know!

It’s hard to find a 100% accurate resource. You have to sort of piece together lots of data points... TP, resort fan sites, experiences here, etc. Even then, things change. Plants grow or are cut down, Disney tweaks things, etc.

In my experience, if you could see the water, the Outer Building-Lagoon View room category would in all likelihood be the assigned room category for that room. That’s not a 100%/take it to the bank statement though.
