How to start?

In order to afford our December trip and another trip in March we are staying off site the first part of our trip before going to DS's in Jupiter and then returning to Disney to finish off our trip. During our off site time we hope to spend a day resort hopping to see the decoration. This will be the week after Christmas so we realize it will be VERY crowded. DH does NOT want to drive to all these places so we thought we would park at TTC and use disney transportation. We hope to see the MK area resorts and Epcot area resorts. What would be the best way to start off after parking?? Catch the monorail, walk to Poly and start????Also about what time does anyone think we should plan to be at the TTC to start out? I didn't want to be caught up in the opening time, but then again being Xmas week the parks can get full quick and parking lots closed??
Any thoughts? Anyone ever relied on Disney transp. to see as many resorts as possible??

i would get there as early as possible and start off @ poly then make the rounds to the other momorail resorts. make sure you hit the moderate resorts as well. My wife and I thought they decorated much nicer the the expensive ones.

I agree with your route too, that's a good idea. We usually drive to see the decorations, and they are beautiful! Just keep in mind, (if memory serves me) the Epcot monorail will drop you off at Future World and you'll have to walk through the park to the resorts.
