I usually start with a title page and then an airport or on-the-road page.
I group my photos by park instead of in the order they were taken. I think it makes my album flow better, but that is just my choice. I always group character photos together, too.
Then, I subdivide the pictures from one of the parks into ones that go together. These I stack onto a 12 x 12 square of cardboard in a tray, top with cardboard and more pictures, etc.
When I have a good pile, I start matching paper with each level of the stack and search for stickers or paper piecing patterns that would work. I find that working by park also helps in this area. When you are doing Animal Kingdom photos you narrow your scope and zero in on Lion King, Tarzan, dinosaurs, etc.
When I actually sit down to scrap, I have my ideas, supplies, etc ready and in front of me. The part that I don't like is over and done. I like the actual creating process.
One of these days I'll get around to scanning some of my pages so I can share them with you guys. I just never seem to have the time to take an album apart and play with the scanner.
