How to start in AK...

RD Pandora, heading right to NRJ and then FP FoP? Or PPO breakfast at Tusker House? Does it make a difference if we start with NRJ? I'd really like to do Tusker House because I've never eaten there, but to be honest I would rather shove a Mickey waffle in my face on my way to the park if an ADR will put us way behind the RD crowd :-/ For reference, we aren't going doing a super busy week. We'll be in AK 2/13.

The hardest part of that strategy is getting the FoP fastpass for early morning. As the other posts on here discuss (and my own experience), people currently are only able to get afternoon or evening FoP fastpasses even for later in their trip. Maybe it will be easier in February but be prepared to be flexible.

I'd recommend reserving the Tusker House PPO this week when your 180 ADR window opens (assuming you're staying on property) to get that out of the way. Then try to get the FoP fastpasses at the 60 day window and adjust your strategy. If you can get those, I'd do the Tusker House PPO, don't worry about the RD crowd and hit NRJ whenever you finish breakfast (even if it's after RD your NRJ wait shouldn't be more than 20-30 minutes that early - if that), and then hit FoP using fastpasses. I wouldn't let getting to NRJ replace Tusker House if that's something you want to do.

Thanks! That is sort of what I figured might happen, but it will be my first time in Pandora so I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't want to feel like I had to rush at Tusker to avoid a 60+ minute wait for NRJ. 20-30 is definitely doable. I am hoping that by February it may be slightly calmer all around

We started with rope drop for FOP with Navi River FP at 9:30am. We had ROL package with Tusker House at 10:30. The plan was to ride FOP then NR and then hit Dinosaur before 10:30 TH breakfast. We then lucked out with a FOP FP that showed up a few days after our 60 day mark so I took it and now will rope drop NR. Either way I feel this can still be managed. I don't thing we could have done this with an earlier TH time.
