What is the best place online to search for Airfare? Looking for of course the CHEAPEST way to fly with a family of 4. Any ideas, suggestions or advice is very welcome.

I did Orbitz, lol, wasn't cheap enough. Ok, lemme ask this...

Has anyone ever used something like priceline where you set a price for your own tickets? Know how this works?

Looks like your best bet to me would be to fly out of BWI(Baltimore)on Southwest. They have 8 or 9 nonstop flights per day, not sure when your going, but you could probably match the price I get out of Indy, $546.00 for 4 people RT. Just keep checking their website for the dates you need. :earsboy:

There is something call Side Step that will give you a great comparison of prices. It's easy to download and has really helped me with air, hotel and car rentals.

bookingbuddy.com allows you to enter your travel dates, etc. in only ONCE and then gives you a chart of what travel services you would like to check...No need to keep re-entering all your details over and over.

Personally, Orbitz has served us very well! I also have read that say you are a group of 4-5 people...Run your search with 2, and then a separate 2-3 seats search..Sometimes the availability (more full or not) on certain flights can get you better prices depending on your reservation request (???? :confused3 ). Also, I got a much better deal flying out on a Monday vs. my original plan of Tuesday...Saved about $60 per ticket!!! :cool1: Good luck!! :wave2:

Your best bet is to come down to BWI and fly SWA. Harrisburg doesn't have any non-stops and generally are more expensive. You may also consider Air Tran out of BWI. FYI...SWA can only be booked through their site. Good luck!

I've used priceline several times with success. However, make sure you read & understand their rules before bidding.
