How to score a Chef Mickey's reservation?

I tired to get a 60 day out and all in-between for Chef Mickey's and nothing was available. When do the reservation in the morning open for the next day or do they start at midnight?

If someone cancels a reservation, I believe they have until 11 PM EST the day before to do so without penalty.

Things usually book up right away, but when you start getting 1-2 weeks out from your trip you usually start seeing things pop up as people solidify plans. The free dining alerts are a great idea. I’ve been lucky with touring plans alert and gotten several ADR’s that way.

Keep checking and good luck 😀

If you are awake check every morning around 5:45 they sometimes add reservations. I know they say 6am but sometimes its up at 5:45.
Good Luck!

I just saw Chef Mickey's and Oga's for tomorrow, along with some other hard-to-get reservations, so it does feel like "day before" available is often available.

Just keep trying. People often come to their senses and cancel. :) :)

I added a day to my July trip this afternoon and was able to score a 6:05 pm Chef Mickeys from a touring plans reservations finder alert.

There are two ways...

1. Have a reservation longer than 5 days on property.

2. Keep watching and checking. You will probably have a better chance within a couple of days of the day you want. As it gets closer, more people will cancel.

I got hard to get reservations during Spring Break the day before by stalking the dining app ... especially from around 7pm on.

We just came back from 3 day trip last week. We were never able to score any CM adr. However, dinner 2 of the nights around 6-7pm, if you use the Dine now CM showed availability with a 5min wait!! So we hopped on monorail from GF and grabbed a table. So easy!

In addition to checking often for yourself, sign up for the reservation finder on Touring Plans. It will send you an alert when someone cancels.

I have a June ressie that I'm on the fence about. I just watched a Youtuber's review and she said it was okay. I mean for $55 a head I kind of wanted better than "okay." :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Spoiler alert - it's not LOL
You're paying for the characters and experience, not the food.

Yeah, it is what it is....

I love 1900 Park Fare, they had the best interactions. Miss that one... Hopefully soon

Keep checking multiple times a day! People move reservations around a lot and may have it held but are trying to secure another option.

I agree with above. Its not really "bad" persay but in terms of food alone I don't think the food matches the price. Its the experience you're paying for. The food is kind of the expected buffet that you can get at most of the character restaurants.
