how to return to SSR if at jellyrolls until closing?

Obviously I'm in overdrive--Disney style. My mind has been racing about our 1st trip home to SSR. Anyway my thought is if we go to Jellyrolls one nite(which I am so looking forward to) and we are there to closing time, would we better off driving our car or not? I figured we could walk to DTD and take the bus to Boardwalk , but will the busses be running at 1-2 am the middle of the week in October? TIA

The DTD buses will still be running because PI closes at 2am. If you seriously plan to stay until it closes, I would drive myself just to be on the safe side, but you should still be able to get back using Disney transportation.

You could also walk- there is a walkway from DTD to SSR.

Yes, but they are talking about getting from Jellyrolls at the BW Resort back to the DTD/SSR area; those buses should still run up to closing, but you can easily get a cab at one of the resorts around the BW area back to SSR and not have to worry about having a designated driver!

I really shouldn't be typing when this tired- I was reading jellyrolls but thinking of DTD- my mistake.

I love the idea of not worrying about a DD ( driver not dis daughter ).
Are there usually cabs hanging around the resort?

After a full night a JellyRolls, we alway take a Taxi, JellyRolls is on the boardwalk, and there is no walkway to SSR.

There are taxi's on Disney Property, not necessarily "at" the resort, the Front desk, or Bell Services can call for one and they are usually there within minutes (unless you are planning to be there on New Years Eve and then it takes hours )

I've never left the Boardwalk when there weren't at least a couple of cabs hanging around out front.
