How to respond?

I am sorry if this is the wrong forum, but in over six years on the DIS this is my first infraction.
I can't respond to the moderator who issued an infraction because i can't send a private message.
I was issed infractions on three postings, and i don't see how one of them was infraction-worthy. It was an apology.
Also, I don't understand how infractions are handed out. Why is my signature gone but someone who is habitually insulting is alive and well? Is there a secret handshake I am unaware of?
Looking at the thread,it seems as though infractions were only handed out on one side of the issue at hand.

You can address issues with infractions to admin@wdwinfo.com. All of the webmasters can access that email account, and one of them should be able to answer your questions.
