Hi,

I heard that it is best for one to reserve in advance your meals at the restaurants.

I am planning to buy a dining plan package and I would really like to reserve my dinners in advance since I won't be spending a lot of time in Disney world I would like to make sure I can have a seat in the best ones that are included in the Dining package.

So how can I go about doing that?

And by the way which restaurants would you recommend me that are part of the dining plan?

Thanking you in advance

Hi! To make a reservation at a Disney restaurant, simply call 1-407-WDW-DINE, or toll free 1-800-828-0228. I can't make a personal recommendation for restaurants since I haven't been yet, but you can check out these boards and the dining reviews for some good choices. The ones I seem to see over and over are Le Cellier, Narcoossie's, California Grill, Flying Fish, Kona. Try to call to make your reservation as soon as you can--up to 180 days in advance. Have fun on your trip!

:welcome: to The DisBoards, vero19! My first suggestion would be to go to www.allears.net. Under "Dining," they have menus from all of the Disney Dining Spots-from burger & fries Counter Service to Signature Dining-and a little of just about everything in between. :thumbsup2 Just the best place to start in my humble opinion. :upsidedow

Welcome! I second the allearsnet recommendation! I am heading there next to price my meals because I overbooked and need to figure out what to pay out of pocket.

When are you going? You can make reservations 180 days from the start of your trip and I would just to be sure you get what you want.

I love the following:

MK:
Crystal Palace Breakfast and Dinner are both great! (with Pooh and friends)
Liberty Tree Tavern- good ole American Thanksgiving food- my favorite food holiday!

Epcot:
If you like German- Biergarten not usually too busy, but we like it!
We also like Marrakesh but not good for small kids
Our favorite- Le Cellier (who knew Canadians could cook?)

MGM- 50's Prime Time- down home southern cooking or like mom used to make! All the way down to your "aunt or cousin" telling you to eat your food and keep your elbows off the table

Ak We never go there, it is a gigantic zoo, we have one here in Kansas City already.

Resorts:

Polynesian- Ohana
Contemporary- Chef Mickey ( if you have kids)
