So what rooms does that refer too? Is it all of the rooms facing the lake, or just on the 1st and 2nd floor in half of the building? Do you see what I mean? What are they really talking about? Are we thinking the will be reasonable and
DVC thinks only while the jackhammers are working will we move folks or what?
DVCMC is really doing a poor job IMO regarding this situation. I realize that DVD or Disney or whoever is in charge of the construction at Wilderness Lodge may not have told DVCMC about it in time to give the guests at VWL time to book elsewhere, 11 months ago. But now DVCMC knows more about it and they should be restricting the number of rooms released for reservations at VWL in the future. And they should tell VWL owners what will be available from now until the expected completion of the pool construction. I don't know enough about the cabins as to how that construction would affect VWL rooms. I do know five wetland areas are preserved between VWL and the cabins, but not sure if and how that would reduce construction noise for those rooms. So it could be a long time that those rooms will not be available.
That is a lot of points other DVC resorts will need to absorb for the next few years. Is DVC really aware of this problem?
