How to Request Star Wars for Western Repo?

I realized today that the first week we are on board the ship during the Western Repo Cruise is the same week that Star Wars Episode III comes out.

How can we make a request that this movie be one of the on-board movies during the Cruise?

If it comes down to a petition, both hubby and I will sign. For a nanosecond we both thought about not going because this was coming out... just a nanosecond....

Hopefully, you will have it! There is 14 days of entertainment that Disney needs to fill. It seems logical that they would add a few first run movies to the schedule! However, I wonder if you would find out before the cruise or onboard.

Unfortunately I doubt that it will be one of the movies on your cruise. DCL only shows first run Disney Co. movies (Touchstone, Buena Vista, Hollywood Fillms & Miramax are all part of the Disney Co.). Films from other movie studios are sometimes shown but not until several months after their release. I remember both Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings films being shown in the theater but, again, not until many months after their release.

Star Wars III onboard...Its not totally out of the question. The Disney board of directors would only have to finally oust Michael Eisner and name George Lucas as President/CEO of the Walt Disney Company.

I seriously doubt any kind of pleading will succeed in getting SWIII on a Disney ship.

But, you'll probably have Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (hits theaters 5/6/2005 and supposedly is a Disney film).

Hasn't Lucas given up on that franchise yet? You'd think after 27 years he could find something new.

I was a young reporter in 1977 when the first one came out. It didn't do well at the start until they started sending out free tickets to reporters to try and drum up interest. Saw it 3 times for the free the first week if was out. Fine movie, but come on, cancel a cruise to see it, and a Disney cruise at that? Forget it.
