My friend just asked me to help her out since I´m her Orlando expert
I told her I´d ask my Dis friends who are my Orlando experts

Well, she and her DH and kids are going to Orlando in September along with 3 other families. They´d like to stay in 2 homes, preferably very close to each other. Each home needs to have 4 bedrooms or more and at least 2 of them need to be queens or larger and the other 2 preferably with twin beds (for the kids). Is this a hopeless task?

It has to be near Disney, of course!

You need to repost this in the Orlando attractions forum which has a section on offsite accomodation. Many homeowners in Florida have more than one home in the same district. good luck though a condo may be more suitable.

Try Romancing the Mouse. They have a 4 and 5 bedroom in Windsor Hills right next door to each other. We are renting the 4 bedroom in April. It has 2 king bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with 2 twins each. I found them through several great reviews on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions section of the boards. We are very excited to be staying with them.

Hi, If you find a house you (or she) likes, very often the owner has a friend in the same neighborhood that they refer. When dealing with the actual homeowner, they not only know everything about thier house and neighborhood, but very often will have alot of knowledge regarding other homes in the immediate area. Hope this helps!

You might try 5mins2disney. I have read he has 3 townhomes in Windsor Hills. Not sure how close they are to each other.

Who's that? Never heard of him. ;)

Seriously -- I PM'd Freyja with this, but since this is becoming an info thread, I'll note that the owner of the home we are staying in in Windsor Hills owns two 6 bedroom homes next door to each other. The website is www.valhallavillas.com.

Haven't stayed there yet but will post a trip report with review when we return at the end of March.

oops -- posted this on wrong thread!

He is a member here on the dis. His member name is 5mins2disney and his website for his townhomes are www.5mins2disney.com or he shows up on the windsorhillsrent.com site. I do not know him or know anything about his places but have just read lots of his posts as we are considering an off site location when we return to disney.

If you rent through a property-management company, they would probably be able to accommodate your requests, as they manage many homes in the same area. I would check www.DoOrlando.com. I've used them twice and they deal with management companies.
