How to personalize scooter

I may be renting a scooter when we go down next week. How do you personalize your scooter to tell one from the other. I realize that only your key will fit your scooter, but looking for a way to make mine stand out rather than going through the ones that are parked nearby.

I made a pillow case-like cover for the back.

Mine has special accessories like my crutch holder and zippered basket on it. It is also 2 different colors.

Something like Nohal, but I 'dress' the setback in a t-shirt that I clip, tie, or zip-tie at the bottom to hold it on.

There are only about two or three ECV keys between all brands and models.

I know that I can never misplace mine, nor have anyone else claim it as theirs.

You have lots of good advice on little things to do - I wanted to give a bit of advice on what NOT to do... Avoid things that stick up like balloons, tall flags, umbrellas, etc... It often sounds like an easy way to "spot" the ECV, but it can get in the way of the people with you/around you, and if anyone has to sit behind you for things like parades (where there are two rows of scooters/WCs), it ca obstruct the view of others behind you.

I have seen waay too many people get poked by umbrellas and flags in the world to think they are a good idea.

I really do like the T-shirt idea, though!

I keep my ECV with me unless I am actually on a ride. I am not able to park it and then go in lines, so "finding" it (even without the seat cover) is really not a problem for me!

Was at Epcot on Sunday, and there was a man who had somehow rigged up his ECV with what looked like Christmas tree lights along its outline. He also had on an extremely tall 'Mad Hatter' style hat, with Christmas tree style lights winding around it.

He looked like one of the floats in the electrical light parade tooling around! Very cool.

The lights are easy, although a small investment. I got my battery operated strings of Christmas lights from QVC, and I know they still sell these.

Two years ago Target and some of the home stores had battery operated or solar powered small lights for Halloween (Christmas too).
We got some solar ones in purple for DD's wheelchair. We attached them with electrical tape, which holds well and comes off cleanly. Just make sure the battery pack, on/off switch and/or solar panel are in correct spots before attaching everything.

When I rented an ECV for a friend of mine once, I had brought a simple sign I printed up for it and attached to the front basket (using safety pins). It had her favorite cartoon character (happened to be a non-Disney one, but who cares?) and a handicapped symbol on it (she was so worried ppl would think she was faking it because she was young and healthy-looking, but she had MS and never could've done Disney without the ECV). The sign made finding the ECV after rides and restaurants and restrooms easy, even when there were many of them in the same area (like on Space Mountain).

My teenage granddaughter always makes me a Disney drawing with the words Disney Grandma on it and I attach it to the front of the basket using twist ties.

I was sitting here thinking about this topic, when something came to mind. Actually bedogged inspired it. It will be used for both my scooter and the kids strollers.

I am going to print off a bunch of Disney coloring pages for the kids to color on the plane (they are ages 5,5,and 6). While flying down there, the kids can color these really nice, and I will take clear plastic sleeves to put their pictures into. We will then hang them off of my scooter and their strollers using clips of some sort to keep them there. Each day they can change their picture and know which stroller is theirs and it will decorate my scooter with one of a kind art work.

What a great idea! The children will be so proud of themselves.

Yes they connect directly to the powerchair's battery and being LED there is very very little draw.
