We always go in the summer. This year we'll also be going early Nov. in the off-season. How do you park hop when they close the parks so much earlier? We usually go when it opens and leave between 12 or 1:00 for a nap/swim. Can you head back to the parks at 5:00? Don't they close early?

WE always go in off season and never have an issue with the early park closing. Crowds are so low that you can accomplish so much during the day. We go first thing in morning and as you do, go back to hotel to swim/nap mid-day and then around 4pm, we head back out to MGM which is usually open until 8pm or Epcot which is open until 9 or just to a late dinner. MK and AK usually close by 6, so those are parks we usually tackle in the mornings. Fort Wilderness has a campfire program at night with some characters and a Disney movie which can also occupy an evening. I have never wished a park to be open later as we're usuallly pooped and ready to turn in by 9 every night! Enjoy off season - it's wonderful!

We too have gone off-season and park hopped. We usually do MK & AKL in the a.m. We also do the emh park each a.m. We will sometimes head out to another park at regular opening time depending on the crowds. We spend an afternoon at Epcot to do the Future World stuff that closes earlier and most evening are spent at the World Showcase. We spend less time at the pools in off-season(mainly a weather issue) and the parks are usually less crowded so you can still do as much even though they close earlier.

We always go off season. We rarely take a break in the afternoons. It is not as hot and humid and you don't feel as drained and the need to be refreshed. However, even if you did leave, you would still have time to go back. MK usually closes at 7 pm, MGM at 7 pm. AK at 5 pm, and Epcot at 9pm. (Those have been the closing times the last 3 Jan's that we have been.) So except for AK, if you left at noon and returned at 4 pm, you would still have quite a bit of time left to tour the parks. And since there are lower crowds, you don't need as much time to do everything.

Enjoy.

Thanks so much everyone. I really appreciated the feedback. Now I feel better. We can still go back at night if we want to or not. Thanks guys.
