How to make the most out of DCA

If you aim to hit Incredi-coaster first then you can hop off and run over to the midway games. The last couple of times I have gone they gave a free play to the first family to come to the games in the morning (no guarantees, but worth a quick shot)

The animation academy is that where they have a drawing lesson? I think someone mentioned that the post which characters they're going to draw, right?
And make sure to get there about 5 minutes or more before the session starts because sometimes they fill up. Also, no food or drinks are allowed in AA, and my DH always forgets this, gets a Diet Coke right before we plan to go to Animation Academy. That drink then gets put into the back pack for the duration of the lesson. It is about 15-20 minutes per character, and the animators are usually pretty funny and make quite a few good jokes!

I had a very frustrating day at DCA last week. It was my "starting" park for the day and there were times when Toy Story, Incredicoaster, Grizzly River Rapids, and Guardians were all temporarily closed off and on, creating super long wait times at RSR and Soarin.... making it virtually impossible to do anything until I could hop back over to DL.

So is there other places people would recommend for breakfast? I doesn't have to be sit down, I'm fine with grabbing something quick and eating in line? Has anyone tried breakfast at Pym's?
Just a friendly note, I don't believe DL allows you to eat in-line still. Unless the policy has changed from the summer, you have to eat in designated areas only.

Is DL there's a fast food kind of place towards the end of Main Street that always had cups of cold water (some with ice, some without) for free. Do they have that in DCA?

Oh, really? Were the rides just down because of mechanical stuff, or down for like OBB prep?

This is not accurate at this time. Since June 15, you can eat or drink anywhere outdoors, including lines. Once you’re indoors, masks are required, so no eating/drinking.
