Ok, I've just joined touring plans so I can make my room request but I am feeling stupid and unable to figure it out. Needing help and am only 8 days out from my trip! Thanks!

From your dashboard you should see the option to find a room. Did you plug in your hotel for your trip?

well on the dashboard I see a button to click for room request but then it gives me some boxes to check off (room type, floor etc) and then it says "show matching rooms" and it does nothing. I already know what building I would like to request. Actually am ok with two different buildings. but I just don't see where to put this info in at. It's making me feel clueless. LOL
I just want to request two different building choices and ground floor since we have an ECV.

You should first call Disney and ask then to add a room request if you haven't where you can ask for your buildiing and ground floor, with note of ECV so they understand your need for accessibility. On TP, after you choose those options, there should be a map on the right, with rooms highlighted that match your choices. Then if you click on a highlighted room in the building you wanted, you can see a view from that room, and when you see one that matches with your requests, you can click on "request this room.". Then it will show up on your dashboard, along with other info. if you gave plugged in dates and reservation number. They send the fax about 5 days out since that is when room assignments are supposed to be made, so you want to do it now so you get requests made ahead of that. Remember they are only requests, so if when you arrive they have given you something else, you can politely remind them of the request you called in that is on your reservation, and ask if they could accommodate you. They will usually try to help if there is availability.

Once you've checked everything off and it shows the room options, click on the room or view you want from the options presented. Once you click on it there will be an option to request that room through Touring Plans. Was on it today and it worked. Good luck!

Edit: Realized someone else already helped, sorry!
