How to make a room request?

I am checking in for my upcoming trip and wanted to put in a room request. Where do you do that? I recall making a request for a BCV trip last April, but I seriously can't find where to do that. On the Disney check in page, it gives a drop down that only consists of two options (Moorea and Ground Floor) and it doesn't give the ability to type in the request. Thank you in advance!

If online check in doesn't have anything that matches what you want, you will have to contact MS. You can use chat (when available), email (contact us from DVC website) or call to have requests noted on your reservation.

Perfect! I will send an email. Thank you!

Best is to contact MS via phone, email, or chat, and have it put in your particular request, and then do not use the online request page (doing so could wipe out request made through MS). The request page in the online check-in system applies generally to all those staying at the resort, including cash guests.

A number of years back, the site used to show a lot of different requests that one could make and then, when a site “upgrade” was done, most were eliminated, to the point now that it is often pointless to use the online request page when checking in. Moroever, it can actually be ridiculous to do so at a number of the resorts, e.g., for Jambo you can request a high floor but all DVC rooms are on the fifth floor (club level on 6th); at Kidani, you can request to be near an “elevator,“ but there are three elevator locations along each of the two wings and a near elevator request (without naming the particular elevator) can be met by putting you in any room in the building.

Interesting, thank you for sharing! I noticed one of the two requests in the dropdown for Poly was "Moorea". Then I read on another site that all the Lake View rooms are in Moorea anyway, so why would I request Moorea if I have a Lake View reservation? Whatever...I will email my requests to DVC and then roll with whatever I get. Thank you!

I've used all three methods. But I prefer to use email for making room requests because you get a reply stating that the request has been added. It may take a few days but having the request and response in an email gives me a sense of confidence that is been done, and then months later it reminds me that I actually did make those requests.

What is the email to make room requests or is it just the email/feedback form on the website?

Just the feedback on on the website. You can also use the Chat feature. If it is not there when you log in, wait around about 5 minutes and it will usually pop up!
