How to make a puzzle?

I may be on the wrong thread, but if I am maybe someone can direct me to the right thread.

I am going to surprise my children with our third Disney Cruise and I wanted to make a puzzle for them to put together. I see all these designs for Cruise Magnets. I need a design for a puzzle. Does anyone have any insight on how I can do that. I know how to make a puzzle out of a picture, but that is not what I want. I want a cute design of the ship or something, and then to put on it that we are going on another cruise and the date of the cruise. I am sure I sound like an idiot, but does anyone have suggestions on how I accomplish this?

Maybe some added information might help someone considering trying this.
Just a suggestion.

Which Disney cruise ship are you going on ?

What are your kids first names ?

What is the date you want on the puzzle?

Hi Mel,
I think I would like a picture of The Dream, since that is the ship we will be going on this time. I want it to say "If you can DREAM it"....

and then down at the bottom or somewhere else have it say, "...We will be going on it!!!!" Or something similar. I for sure want it to say "if you can DREAM it" as that is our meets title group. The part where I let them know we are going on it, can say something else. And then I would like the date somewhere.

October 14th~18th, 2012!

Just some kind of decorative thing, I can download to a website to make the puzzle. I am not a creative person at all, or compuer savvy either.
