My wife & I are thinking about going to WDW for our anniversary in September. We want to go for 11 days. How would we book that many days for a non home resort? We want to stay at BLR or GFR. Thank you for all your help.

You would have to make your initial booking for 7 days when it opens, then "walk" the reservation adding one day at a time until you have your full booking.

Otherwise, you wait 4 days after your window opens and call MS to book the whole thing at once.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will come on to correct me, but that's how I understand it.

Walking is also when you begin reserving prior to the day that you really want to check in. That gives you a jump on those who wait until the real date.

After making all of the reservations online, send a contact form via the member website to have MS correct the first reservation to include all of your dates.

For VGF I'd book the first 7 days as soon as the booking window opens and then call MS each day afterwards to add an additional day until you have your 11 days.

You could do the same for BLT or possibly even wait until 4 days after the 7 month window opens and then book all 11 days at once online. Most likely it would be fine - especially if you are ok with lakeview but there would be a slight possibility rooms could book up.

If you are seeking a studio at VGF, I would go on-line exactly 7 months out at 8 a.m. and book a week if it is open and then three days later call and add three nights. Likewise for BLT theme park view or standard view studio although chances of standard view being open for 7 days in a row at 7 months out are very low. If If you are seeking BLT lake view and you want time in Sep ending before Sep 26, then you can easily wait the extra three days past your 7 month windiow to reserve and reserve all nights at once. If you want time after Sep 25 then do the 7 nights at exactly 7 months out and then call three days later to add four nights.

Note if what you are seeking is a 1BR and anything other than BLT standard view, then you can also wait until 3 days after your 7 month window and call and reserve all at once.

The dates we are looking at are September 8-20. For our anniversary on the 11th. At BLT we want studio theme park view & VGF any studio is fine for us just would like to stay there cause it's such a beautiful resort.
