How to Interpret Crowd Calendars?

I understand the basics, but here is where I am confused: According to the crowd calendars (and I am looking at EasyWDW), one of our possible days for MK is listed as a crowd level 6, with MK listed as green. Another day has a general crowd level of 4, with MK listed as red.

So...

Which trumps? The basic crowd calendar number, or the park comparison color?

Would you go on a (4, red) or a (6, green) day?

They are back to back days, by the way.

The overall crowd calendar number is for all parks, whereas the recommended vs non-recommended is a comparison between parks.

If you're planning to visit more than one park during your trip, I'd pick a park that is green for each day.
I'd also recommend reading the explanations for each day that Josh writes up. He provides pretty detailed explanations for why a particular park is red or green, and sometimes compares that day to other days in the week (e.g. "if you're visiting from Fri-Mon, this is the best day to visit MK" etc.)

Oh! Just found the full day write up. I was clicking on the calendar itself rather than below it. Thanks! That was very helpful.
