...in one room on Disney trip. My sister and my niece would like to come along with us on our trip this year. They can not really afford a room of their own. Does anyone have any suggestions? Trying to include them on our quick dining service as well. :confused3

What are the ages of the kids?

I think the cheapest room that holds 6 people over the age of 3 is the Wilderness cabins.
Unless you get 2 rooms at a value. Depending when you are going there could be some good discounts.

I haven't researched lately, so I could be wrong.

I'm just not sure. Are we allowed 6 people in a four person room? I am thinking rollaway for them or me and my youngest. We can fit perfectly on a rollway. Just not sure if this is "Disney" legal. We are planning on staying at CR. There are 3 kids ages 10, 10 and 6.

There really aren't many options for a group of 6 other than two rooms.

You can get a family suite at ASMusic or a cabin, but both of these are more expensive than two rooms at any value resort.

It definitely isn't legal to have six people in a four person room. If one is under the age of 3, you could legally have five people (someone please confirm this), but no way to legally have six people in a four person room.

Sorry, they don't allow more than 4 in a room designed for 4, unless one is an infant under 3.

Definitely no legal way, and they won't even give a roll-away in most circumstances, and also you would not be able to add them to a dining plan unless you are in a room that is 6 person acceptable.

Yes, if one is under 3 they are considered an "infant" and don't count toward the 4 person limit.

If one child is under 3, the OP could stay in one room at POR (they allow 5 + infant). It's a bit more expensive than a value, but less expensive than two rooms.

If you lie about the people in the room, they would not have access to ME, dining, or EMHs. And I don't know if the values offer roll-away beds anyway.

Stay off-site in a rental home or condo; get 2 rooms at a WDW resort; ASMu family suite; or bump to a cabin @ Ft W.

Even if 6 in a reg room were legal, you would NOT want to do it!

The rooms are cramped enough with 4; I can't imagine 6!!

Another option is to tell you sister to wait till the next trip and save her money to pay her way (unless you are in a position to pay for her and don't mind doing so).

I know what it's like to be in your position. Everytime we go, my DD24 wants to go along with her DS3 and DS1. But sometimes you have to be realistic and say, unless you can afford it, you can't go.

I hate feeling like I have to try to pay someone else's way because they can't afford it. But at the same time, it's hard not to, because you want the other person to be able to go.

Not a lot of help, I know, but I do feel for you! :flower3:

Could your sister at least go halfsies with you for an ASMu family suite? Same with the dining? Either that or stay off site at a cheaper place but then that would toss the dining option out the window. I'm sorry I don't have any better ideas.

Doesnt CR allow 5 in a room? so if the one was <3 it would work but you all have to be on the same plan.

Plus the 3 adults, Kae.

oops should have read better ;) I would think you could do 2 rooms at a value for the less than one room at pop & then you could be on different packages.

I will go with the poster that said switch your reservations over to POR, their rooms will sleep 5 plus an infant and it will be a nicer resort as well, then you can add her onto the dining plan and it will be done and done. Hey, have a good time!! :thumbsup2
Except there's nobody in the party under three. The youngest is six. Now, the OP mentions something about staying at CR. For less than what they'd pay for that room (convenient though it may be), they could get two rooms at a Value, possibly two rooms at a Moderate, or a Family Suite or a Fort Wilderness cabin.

Why not stay offsite at hotel that have a two bedroom suite. Example Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue.
