I have a travel question for you all.

My parents and I will be arriving at MCO on January 17th. The Central Florida Highland Games are the same day, at the Central Winds Park in Winter Springs. Since we're staying at the Hyatt in the airport. Also, instead of wasting a day at the parks because we're going on DCL the next day, we thought we might go to the Games.

What are our transportation options for 2 possibly 3 adults getting from MCO to Central Winds Park in Winter Springs - and back?

I got a quote from a cab - $45.00 each way. Anything cheaper?

TIA,

Rent a car for the day. A sub-compact won't cost more than about $45 for the entire day, and you'll be able to stop for groceries or whatever along the way.

Well, hopefully I can help you since I live in Winter Springs and I work at the airport!

As far as getting to the Scottish Highland Games (which we go to every year since my husband is Scottish). I would take the B-line which is 528. That runs right in front of the airport. Anyway, take that East to 417 North (towards Sanford). Get off at the SR434 exit. Turn Left onto SR434, go about 4 miles. The park is on the right just after Tuskawilla Rd.

Hope that helps. If you are trying to pull up a map use Winter Springs High School- 130 Tuskawilla Rd, Winter Springs, FL 32708. The park is right next to the High School.
