Is a taxi the only way to get to SeaWorld from Disney? I was wondering if there is any shuttles or a SeaWorld bus available.

Thanks for any help

I think there are both. Mears runs a shuttle and the #50 bus goes from both TTC and DTD to Sea World. We have been deciding whether to walk a little more and save money or relax and let someone else drive! If you check out the Trip report in the Disney section called "What's your problem....." on the 'We're not in Disney anymore' chapter (direct links on second post) the poster discusses taking the buse for just a few dollars! I think Mears is $18 pp.

The lynx bus runs every half hour from like 6am to almost midnight. It's 2$ per person, and up to three children can ride free with each paying adult. (the all day pass is 4.50, so that's something you don't need). Seniors and children fares are a 1$ each.

You can pick it up at the TTC, or DTD on the other side of cirque theater. (there's also two other stops on hotel plaza blvd, right at the street light at the marketplace end outside of the suntrust bank, and down towards the end of the road outside the last hotel.) So if you take the Disney bus to DTD, just get off at Marketplace and walk to the street corner, there will be a lynx bus stop sign.

Hey! That's my TR :thumbsup2 LOL! I was just checking out this forum to find more info on Aquatica and I saw this post. If you have any more questions about the city bus route (LYNX) I'll be happy to answer them.

I do! We will be there on Tuesday- Staying at OKW. WIll take bus 50 ( I think, have it all at home) Every half hour. Are the buses crowded? We will take it to SW and Aquatica. Is the walk long from SW to Aquatica? Anything else you can think of to tell me would be great! Thanks!

The bus was not crowded at all last year at the beginning of May. Everyone on the bus was able to sit in a seat. People com and go while traveling the route. As far as getting to Aquatica... that's a question I'll need to get an answer to... we plan to do that this year and will be a first.

I would suggest getting off at the third sea world stop. It's in front of the cast building.
The first stop is just after turning onto sea harbor dr, the second stop is right across from the renissance hotel at the back of the guest parking lot, the third stop is just past the main parking lot near the employee entrance.

From there, walk back towards the main parking, and the first section you come to is the bus drop off area, where you can catch the sea world/aquatica shuttle. It's faster than trying to walk to aquatica from the bus stop.
