When staying off-site, how do you get to MK early if you have to park at the TTC and they don't let you on the monorail to MK until 9 a.m.? (On another thread) What if you have reservations for breakfast before 9 a.m. ? How would the bus be from Downtown Disney to MK early in the morning (or is that not a good idea)?
Thanks

The best way is still the standard way. Park at TTC. The Express monorail won't be running, but the Resort monorail is running by 7:30 and you can take that to MK. If you have breakfast ressies you will be admitted to the park early.

The buses from Downtown Disney don't start operating until mid-morning.

Okay I have a couple of more questions along this line......... we are staying onsite, but wish to drive from park to park. We have PS ressies for CRT at 930. Can we get into MK early? (Will they know our confirm # is for 930 or can we sneak in a little early with it?) :smooth: and is it best to park at the TTC and take the resort monorail to the MK? Or do onsite people have another way in by car?

:bounce: Thanks so much! :bounce:

Your best bet is to simply get on the first bus to the MK from your hotel. You should get to the MK by 8:30 at the latest that way. Walk to the far left after clearing security, and you'll see a sign for "Priority Seating." THey'll check you on a list and let you through. We were allowed in about 25 minutes before our Cindy's PS, before the park opened. I do'nt know if you'll be allowed in early if your PS is after official park opening time.

There is always a chance that you will not be allowed onto the resort monorail at the TTC unless you are staying at one of the resorts. They have asked for ID in the past, and during busy times it does happen.

When we were there in November there was no problem getting on the resort monorail at the TTC as long as we had our PS # for Cindy's.....

You can try this:

Write to Disney saying you are driving and need instructions for getting to MK early for a PS. They should then send such instructions in writing. If it includes riding the Resort monorail or parking at Polynesian, you now have that letter to show to the CM if he asks for ID. The CM at the Contemporary parking lot might not have the list of MK PS's.

If you are headed for a resort near MK, use a toll booth as far to the right as you can. You will need to bear right shortly afterwards.

Offsite guests do not have to pay more than once per day for parking. Get a receipt or windshield placard and you can drive to Epcot, etc. if you ar park hopping.

Onsite guests have to follow the same procedure, except that they don't pay for parking anywhere except valet parking.
