We are really interested in going to the Medieval Times when we go in December and notice that there are great internet rates. However, they don't include transfers and I was wondering if any of you specialists knew how a family of 5 could get there without a car or booking a package with transfers.

I suppose we might just have to book the package, but the web discounts are really great.

Thanks for the advice!

ps

Is it any good anyway?

If you don't have a car just take a taxi. You can have your hotel get you one to get you there, then you can ask them after dinner to get you one back, or you can get the number of the first taxi and call them back when you're ready to head back to the hotel.

We're a family of 5 so we would need two taxis. Anyone have any idea of the cost?

There are "van" taxis that will be able to accommodate your group. I'd say $20-$24 each way. You could take the MTA #460 bus but then you'd have a bit of a walk on the Knott's end and would only save a bit. I'd recommend the taxi.
