How to get started

I am really interested in writing trip reports, as I am at Disney 1-2 times per month and love the idea of writing about my trips, tips, and experiences! However I’m still new to the disboards and am unsure how to get started as some trip reports I see seem pretty technologically advanced and such. Any tips on how to get started with trip reports? My next trip is the last weekend in April.

I have nothing to offer except I want to write trip reports too! My coworkers don't usually want to listen to me talk about my Disney plans for 2 weeks on each end of my trip, lol, but obv the folks on DisBoards love it! I want to know about the formatting and stuff for sure.
