How to get rid of water/rust stains on my knives

We are hosting Thanksgiving Dinner this year and I have a set of stainless steel steak knives that have what looks like water spots that are rust colored. The knives are only one year old. Is there something that I can clean the stains of with??

Vinegar. or Lemon Juice and Cream of Tartar. Both are acidic enough to remove. Soak only the blade part in the mixture. Then wash thoroughly and wipe clean with a soft cloth.

You can also try Bar Keepers Friend...great for cleaning stainless steel.
