How do you get menus's to preview BEFORE actually getting to DL? It would be easier to plan if you could see the item/prices that they have for all three meals. Basically, the whole menu. THANKS!!

I found lots of menus on Deb Wills site www.allearsnet.com

Most of her site is for WDW, but if you scroll down and look on the left side, there is a link for DL info. She has lots of menus for DL and DCA.

I have a problem I am a non meat eater and my daughter will only eat (in the theme park context) chicken nuggets and pizza. I had intended on having one decent meal (substantial not necessarily healthy) at the parks and just cope with snacks for the other 2 meals, but finding a restaurant that suits me and dd is a nightmare! We are going to do a lot of character dining, but I still need another couple of options, I have definitely got to try one of the gumbo/soups in a bread bowl, because I think that sounds really funky

There are some buffet restaurants in the hotels, and good vegetarian choices in DTD also. You can get a veggie skewer at Bengal BBq and DD can get a chicken one! It is my favorite place to snack!

Thanks churro for the barbecue idea, it is more in the parks that I am struggling to find common ground. I don't want to live on pizza my waistline is suffering already

Carnation cafe on main street and Club Buzz in tomorrow land both offer a veggie sandwich that sounds really good. Riverbelle terrace has a veggie stew in a bread bowl. Pacific warf cafe in DCA has a veggie chili in a bread bowl, as well as some other soups. There are also bean burritos available at the couple mexican places. And dont be afraid to special request something with out meat or ask if they have veggie patties for the burgers. Many places can (or at least they used to be able to) accomodate that request.

My problem is that my daughter won't eat at many of those places as she has a limited repertoire, a lot of places have macaroni cheese and hot dogs for the children which she just won't touch.

You might have to buy food at 2 locations to keep you both happy. Just find two near each other, buy for one, and carry to the other to eat.

Pick up what you want and take it to where you can get your daughter something. We do this a lot as mine wants real food (not hot dog, mac & cheese, hamburgers, etc.) You'd think fast food for lunch or dinner was a death sentence :rotfl2: .

Mine are like that as well. The only place they were really happy is Pizza port. They liked the ravioli meal.

Joanne: You'll be able to find chicken strips anywhere...that was a thrill for me. My son eats only chicken strips or peanutbutter. At WDW it was a major issue, since when we went there was only one counter stand in each park with the chicken...and their pbj's were premade so you couldn't ask for no jelly.

Another place you can try, although it means leaving the park, is the ESPN Zone. It had veggie offerings and the required chicken strips.

The only part of the park that didn't offer chicken strips was Toontown. :rolleyes2 Of course, it did have pizza and then one wanted pizza and the other couldn't find anything to eat there...ugh!!! We ended up eating at the Golden Horseshoe, lol!

Good luck on finding good places to eat!

Do you have to ask for chicken strips if they are not on the menu then because they are definitely not on all menus. I don't think fiona would touch pbj macaroni cheese hot dogs spaghetti with sauce or bean and cheese buritos which I have seen as offerings for children

I had thought about the buying from 2 venues situation, but if the parks are full, there are only the 2 of us this could be quite a chore, but if it is the only option then we will have to do it. Thanks for all your suggestions
