How to get good spot for MVMCP fireworks and parade?

So we are going to party on the 9th. We will get to the party around 5 probably. I plan on keeping kids up and doing the second parade. With that being my plan what time should you find a spot for the fireworks? Should this spot be my spot for the parade as well? Am I able to just stay in that same spot or will we get run over by people leaving? I am having the hardest time figuring out a plan for this party. It's important for us to be in the front row for the parade because our kids are so little and will be tired by the 10:30 parade.

When in doubt, head for a spot near Hall of Presidents, but a place on Main Steet or the Hub should not be impossible.

As to the fireworks, that can be more difficult.

I don't believe this statement to be accurate. We were at the party on Thursday night (11/13). The crowds on the curb on Main Street were three people thick at about 9:45. Because of that, we headed to Liberty Square. There were NO spots available on the curb at that time. We, two adults, were able to find a spot where we could see, but I would honestly say that if you want a spot on the curb or in the very front of the rope, you should plan on parking your buns down on the ground at least 60 mins prior if not more.

Good luck, I know it's not easy with little ones, but if you want to be in front, you need to make the time to sit and wait for it all to happen. And, you need to be assertive because other people WILL show up at the last minute and send their kid right up next to you. Two different sets of parents with little girls came along and stood next to us and sent their daughters up in front of them so they could see better. It's a crazy thing for sure.

I too was at the party on Thursday and would have had no problem finding a spot on the curb on Main Street immediately after the fireworks. This was near the Emporium. There were also plenty of spots near Town Square theater.

We went to the 11/10 party and couldn't get a curb seat on Main St. for the 2nd parade at about 9:45. We got a seat in the 3rd row back and could see the floats/characters/snow, just not the castle. I was a little surprised at first, but the party did end up selling out and I first read it was supposed to be a less busy party.

We went on 11/10. Facing the castle we got to the right of the hub at 9:10. There is a drainage grate that marks the "curb" for the parade. We sat right by the grate for celebrate the magic and the fireworks. My husband took my kids to see the castle show while I held our spot for the second parade.

This plan does not help with the frozen castle lighting but they also do that on non party nights.

We were at the party last night. We watched fireworks on that bridge to the right of the castle (when facing it) directly under tinkerbells zip line. It was a decent view that we didn't have to fight for. For the second parade we got a spot on Main Street at 1015 with no problem. I did notice lots of people showed up 5 min before it rolled and were squeezing in where they could.

No. I am pretty sure I saw it snowing during the 730 Celebrate the Magic show last night.

This is all good info. Maybe we will just stake a place at 9 or so before anything starts and just stay there. My DH could go and get us a snack or something for i between fireworks and parade. Will we be in the way though if we're just standing on a curb after fireworks?

Maybe a little for a minute while the people clear out behind you. We let a couple people pass and then we were fine. So many people got up that there was plenty of ways for people to get in the street.

We are going on the 21st. Our plan was to hit Main Street at 9:15 to watch the fireworks then easing to the curb for a seat for the second parade. My mom can take the kids to see the stage show while me and my sister and niece hold the spots. Does that sound like a good plan?

Sorry to hijack, but any tips if you have to do the first parade? We have a 3 year old and there is no way she will make it to the second parade, even if she takes a nap. Thanks

Head deep into Frontierland, past County Bears.
The parade starts in the back of the park, so it will over by 9:45, or so.

You won't be able to see Celebrate the Magic (Castle projection show) at all.
But, if you stand on the Wooden Bridge that I have shown in the purple color below, you can see the fireworks very well from there, although the angle will be quite sever compare to watching in the hub or on Main Street. Still very enjoyable.

Thanks for this picture. This will def help me figure out if were in a good spot or not. Now with the hub construction going on where all is that exactly? Are views of the castle blocked by it? I guess I dont even understand where all the walls are.
