Hi everybody,

my wife and I are planning our first Disney cruise experience in May 2006. After the cruise we want to go to WDW.

What kind of transportation should we book? :moped: I mean isn´t it more convenient using the disney transportation than a rental car?

Thanks in advance for your hints.

Depending on how you would like to work your trip.

If you are going to WDW after the trip direct, then
there are rental companies right near the port, I think
Budget might be the closest and go straight across
to WDW when you get back to the port (it takes
approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes).

Or you can request to purchase transfers from DCL
from the ship to the resort and either rent a car
there or use the Disney transportation to get around.

We used to DCL transfers to get to the Wilderness Lodge after our cruise. It was very easy and nice to be able to relax on the way there instead of stress about driving and directions. We called my parents to say we were "home" and then snoozed a little.
