My sister and son are going to Universal park and she does not want to rent a car.

So is there a shuttle?
How far and much would a cab be?

TIA

We leave in 11 days! I can't wait! :Pinkbounc :rotfl:

Since there is only two of them. The easiest would be Mears. $14.00 RT pp.

Step 1: The day before she wishes to go to Universal, she needs to dial "0" from her Disney resort phone or ANY house phone at Disney.

Step 2: When the Disney operator answers ask to be connected to Mears.

Step 3: When Mears comes on the line, tell them she wants to go to Universal the next morning, what resort staying at, and approximately what time they want to leave that morning.

Step 4: Mears will give them a pickup time and the resort can tell them where the Mears bus will pick up.

Step 5: Be at the designated bus stop 15 minutes before the pickup time the next morning.

Step 6: Pay the driver $14.00 pp in cash when he/she picks up. (Alternately, when you arrive at Orlando airport, you can purchase the transfers in advance and pay with a credit card, but you still have to reserve the night before)

Step 7: When you arrive at Universal, the driver will ask for a return time and give you your return voucher. You can also call the number on the return voucher 2 hours before you wish to return and they will then give you a pickup time.

Step 8: Return to the same place you were dropped off at your designated return time and you will be returned to your resort.

Hope this helps!

You are the best Carol. You could not have made that any easier for me to get them on the bus to Universal!

Thanks so much! Now I hope DS does not freak that his 14.00 is coming out of the 100.00 he has for spending.

11 more days! 11 more days!!

Not sure about Universal.
We went from SOG to main transportation center took a link bus (city bus).
$3.00 round trip each, arrived in about 15 minutes.
Check the Universal thread.
The main transportation center is located by Magic Kingdom.

Probably a towncar service that has a van. Most of them can accomodate up to 10 passengers for about $60 - $70 RT to Universal.
