Hi everyone, it's been some time since I posted anything but here goes. I am planning a trip in late Nov. and plan to stay at the POP. We have been to disney once a year for the last 4 years but never went outside the park. My ds who wil be 9 yo wants to go to universal for a day or two. Without a car, what are my travel options (rent a car, taxi, other) and approx. costs. So far we are still staying on disney property because of the cost(Value Hotel). It is just the two of us this trip. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!

There's a rental car service on property, you could call a taxi (might be a bit costly, it's a 15-20 minute ride one way) or call a shuttle service, i.e., Mears.

Maybe someone else here can tell us if POP offers a shuttle :confused3

Mears Shuttle is 14 per person round trip. For 2 people that is the best price I know of.

I'm pretty sure there is a public bus that leaves from the transportation area TTC and goes to Universal and sea world. I think it cost just over $1.00 pp each way! Do a search for buses on here and hopefully you'll find out more info. By the way, your DS will LOVE universal. 9 is the perfect age for it and Universal/IOA Rocks! He might find Disney a little boring after doing Universal for 2 days... :rotfl: Have fun!
