Question...how do we get from the Poly to the Yachtsman Steakhouse? What's the fastest way? Thanks!

Driving or taxi probably would be the fastest. ;)

Bus from Poly to DHS and Friendship boat (dock is outside the park) from DHS to YC is an option. Probably allow 90 minutes for connections.

If you have hopper tickets and it is a park day, monorail from TTC to EPCOT, then walk through EPCOT and International Gateway to EPCOT resorts area. Friendship boat or walk to YC. Probably need to allow about the same amount of time.

I'm sure others will be along with better ideas! :goodvibes

Yes, a taxi is a great option.

Otherwise, it would make sense to me to take the monorail or boat to the MK and then a bus to the YC.

Taking the monorail to MK and bus to YC is going to take at least an hour each way, potentially more depending on the order of stops in the Epcot resort area (several resorts share the MK bus).

A cab will take about 10 minutes each way, and be roughly $20-ish.

If you're not already going to be at Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, then I highly recommend taxi.

I'm a big fan of Disney Transport. I've never rented a car for a Disney stay and I never will. But I'm willing to pop for a taxi every now and then (no more than twice per trip) if it will save a lot of time. And going from Polynesian to a BoardWalk-area resort will take a MUCH longer time by Disney Transport than by taxi.

I know, I know, taxis aren't cheap. I hate to say it, I hate the way it sounds, but as a past guest at the Poly I guess I can say it without being offensive ... if you can afford a room at Poly then you can afford a taxi. ;)

We took a taxi from Poly to Beach/Yacht Club when we had an IllumiNations cruise reserved. And we took a taxi back home to Poly afterwards. Very glad we did it that way.

Totally agree with this. We rely almost solely on WDW Transportation, but almost once per visit, we're pinched for time and we use a taxi to get from resort to resort for a dinner reservation.
