Question for you guys.

We are flying JetBlue into Orlando for our disney trip in November. As I know, JetBlue does not participate in the fancy bus thing that takes us to POP. We are not renting a car, but, my children are both in carseats. I'm kinda at a loss as what to do.

Thanks!

Inbound, it doesn't matter what airline you fly. You can still take advantage of Disney's Magical Express transportation and luggage service.

Outbound, it doesn't matter what airline you fly. You can still take advantage of Disney's Magical Express transportation. For luggage service, this is the ONLY time airline matters. And yes, jetBlue does participate.

You absolutely can use Disney's Magical Express (DME), the "fancy bus thing." You can.

ANYONE WHO FLIES INTO ORLANDO ON ANY AIRLINE CAN USE DME.

When you read about "participating airlines," that ONLY has to do with the return from your resort to the airport at the end of your vacation, and even then ONLY involves automatic luggage delivery.

So even if you flew into MCO on a commercial airline that you just created yourself yesterday, you would still get the free bus ride to your resort and you'd still get the automatic delivery of your luggage to the inside of your resort room. In this example, on your way home you'd still get the free bus ride back to the airport, but you'd have to get your own luggage to the bus (and the driver will load it under the bus for you) and could not get it handled for you and automatically delivered through to your home airport, since Tired Mama Airways does not participate in Resort Airline Check-In (the fancy luggage thing for people going back home, if they fly on a "participating airline").

I highly suggest you read the several "sticky" threads at the top of this forum, and then if you have any other questions there are loads of people here who would be happy to answer any questions you have, if we are able.

:welcome: to DISboards!!!

You can take the magical express bus to POP from the Orlando airport regardless of the airline you use. :sunny:

I thought JetBlue was part of it, but no matter - you can still use Disney Magical Express even if you are not on a participating airline... its more or less you would need to grab your own luggage - its not automatic. I would call disney - tell them your flight and POP ressie info and make DME reservations. I think you will be happy at the price (FREE) and service ->magical.

good luck.

This is not true. Everyone on every airline gets their luggage automatically delivered for them upon arrival, as long as they put the special DME tags on them.

It's only on the way HOME that the airline matters. THEN, only some airlines allow you to use Resort Airline Check-In to check your luggage at your resort and have it auromatically appear later at your home airport.

TO REPEAT, WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT MCO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT AIRLINE YOU USE, YOU GET THE AUTOMATIC LUGGAGE DELIVERY AND THE BUS RIDE. PERIOD.

JetBlue IS a participating airline. As stated above any airline you fly you can use DME to and from the resort. Flying a participating airline means you can check your luggage and get your boarding pass at the resort. When you get to the airport head right to security.

Thanks so much guys! Right after I posted this, I of course say Tyler's post about what "participating airlines" means, :lmao: , and that Jetblue participates.

So does this mean I can leave my luggage in the Burlington airport and not see it again until I get to my room at POP?

Thanks again, and sorry for the newbie questions :yay:

Well, I wouldn't literally "leave" it; but yes, by attaching the yellow DME tags that you'll get about three weeks before you go to Disney World and by checking your luggage with somebody 'official' at the Burlington airport - a SkyCap or a JetBlue counter agent - your luggage will magically appear in your Disney resort room a couple to a few hours after you arrive!

yes, once you kiss your luggage goodbye in the Burlington airport, the next time you'll see it will be inside your WDW resort room.

But again, this has NOTHING to do with which airline you chose to fly you to orlando. EVERYONE ON EVERY AIRLINE, AND EVERY SUITCASE ON EVERY AIRLINE, gets the same treatment on arrival.
