Our first park day is going to be Animal Kingdom. We will be getting a DAS for both kids. So where do we go, if we want to be at AK for RD, what time should we be there? How long does it take? Will the DAS we get at AK be good for the rest of the week at all parks?

Also... what should I expect? My DD has ASD and my son has SPD - invisible disorders. Will we be given a hard time? Should I have anything from a doctor to prove their disabilities?

The WDW - Disability Access Service Card thread pinned near the top of this forum will give you a lot of information and answers. The first post has details of the DAS -- how to get it, where to get it, etc. -- you can skip the rest of the thread as that was just discussion at the time the program changed.

Short answers: you can get DAS at Guest Relations at any of the 4 major theme parks. You *might* be able to get it issued at the GR spot outside the park, but if they are dealing with ticket issues at park opening you may be directed to the location inside the park. It should not take long, but the line at GR can depend on how many other people have concerns at the same time you are there. You do not need anything from a doctor, it will not be looked at due to ADA rules here in the U.S. Be prepared to discuss your children's needs as related to waiting in a standard queue environment -- not diagnoses, not school accommodations, etc. -- keep it specific to the situation at-hand using everyday language (non-medical terminology).

Each childr, since we're traveling with a larger party (4 adults, 2 kids)

That's a good idea in case the kids have different likes and/or you need to split up (one taking a break while another does rides). Be prepared to talk individually about each child's needs when requesting the DAS -- maybe "I have 2 children with different needs, let me tell you about Tommy first." They will split your party to have 2 adults on each DAS, along with the child pictured. So if your whole party will be doing the attraction, you'll need to get return times on both cards.

Enjoy your vacation!
