How To Get Candle Wax Off My Counter?

I spilled the candle wax from my tart warmer on the counter not once but twice! Does anyone know how to get it off? I tried to melt it and then scrub it off, but that didn't work at all. Now it's just smeared.

take an iron and some paper towels or old rags. place the towels or rag over the area & then just iron the area until the wax has been absorbed by the heat! this also works on carpets for spilled wax...
