I have a friend headed down to WDW on a MYW package in a few days. It looks to me as though she is paying rack for all components. The package includes flights, so I don't think cancelling and rebooking room only plus tickets is an option at this point, even if she were willing to pay $200 to cancel.
Is there any code that she could try to apply that might help her? The only thing I can find is AP. If they would apply that to the room portion of the package, that might be significant, even if she had to buy an AP.
Can that be done? And if it can, what's the best way to make it work? She'd want to change all the tickets to 1-day base, right, and then upgrade three of them to multi-day tickets and one to an AP? Is this even possible? She won't get her one day until she checks in, right, and then they won't check her in at the AP discount, right?
Anything else anyone might suggest about getting a discount on this rack reservation at this late date? Other than AAA, I'm kind of out of ideas.
