How to get a massage without the hard sell?

I am so glad to hear this. My husband and I go to spas once or twice a year and this has never happened. But I do recall Having the worst experience on a cruise with a massage. (Not Disney). The masseuse seemed not care, and reeked of cigarettes. It was a longtime ago so I'm wondering if I got and endless sales pitch to. I felt disgusting after I left the massage. We're planing on a cruise next summer and we love spas so I hope I don't get an endless sales pitch!

If you experience a sales pitch that leaves you upset (examples are not taking no thank you or as PP mentioned being found later and pushed the products again) then go to guest services and let them know you are extremely displeased. I would even take down my masseuse's name and ask to speak with management. They won't change this until they know people are very upset and it is ruining the experience. Use that Disney Cruise Line key work excellent. Say how you had a less than excellent experience and that gets people going on DCL since the comment cards directly affect their scheduling and days off I've been told.
