I've read of others getting a king suite for $99- 109 but the lowest I could book it at was $129. I've read of some getting the standard rooms for as low as $59 but the lowest I found was $89. What am I doing wrong? Is there a code I should know about. I was booking the Visit Florida rate. thanks

bumping this to the front page because I feel as though I need to take care of this right away :p

I was waiting on making a ressie here because of all of the bad things I have read lately. Some positive posts have started to show up plus some posters are finding their dates booked up (one for next April). So I started to get nervous and decided to book last night. If anyone can help me find a little better rate, I would appreciate it, thanks :)

try calling them and asking for the rate u would like

the best rate we ever got was 99.00

This past August we were able to get our King Suite for $109.00, we just made our ressies for next August and the same Visit Florida Ste. rate was $129.00 for the same room.

jThank-you for the replies :)

I will try calling tomorrow but I'm thinking rates be a bit higher now. If it is to cover the cost of new carpet ect., it may just be worth it.

I just booked it last night for 89.00...after you ge the rates click the button that says "view all rates"..thats where the 89.00 was listed...

aprilgail2... was your rate of $89.00 for a standard room?? Thanks!!

We just booked the $89 rate also. I will keep my eyes open for specials between now and next Aug.
Last year we got the $59 rate.

I booked a room for $89.00 and printed out the coupon from roomsavers. When we got there I asked if they had any of those rooms available and they gave me the room for $79.00.

In my local paper this weekend, the Radisson had an ad listing $79 for a standard room. No dates were listed. It said ask for the "Orlando Rate'. This may only be for Florida residents since it was in a Florida paper but I would give it a try.

SEASTAR:

The Radisson reservationist I talked to was not familiar with this rate - although she did transfer my existing reservation rate to this one.

I do have one question - is a coupon needed for this - or is it just an available rate "if you know the code"?????

Thanks for the tip!

(SCORE - $20 more dollars to spend on the cruise!)

There was no coupon. All the ad said was ask for the "Orlando Rate". This was a large ad with many Central Florida hotels listed.
I'm glad they gave you the better rate!
