How to fix dc and why it happens, answers in here.

Playing CLub penguin which is a new game that sucks but it is kind of fun.
I dc'ed and it says learn more about dcing so i clicked and this is what I got.


This problem is normally caused by either playing Club Penguin from a slow computer, or by a poor quality internet connection between your computer and our server. Even if you're using a super-fast computer connected using an ultra fast internet connection it's still possible that one of the machines on the route from us to you isn't up to the task, and so you might get poor performance sometimes.

To reduce the problem you can try:Close any unnecessary software. Don't try playing Club Penguin while
downloading files or swapping music, this will slow your connection.
Try playing at a different time of day when the Internet is quieter and the
various routers across the internet aren't overloaded.
Try playing from a faster computer.
Try playing from a different ISP (Internet Service Provider)
Attention Wireless Internet UsersPlease check that you have a "Very Good", or "Excellent" internet connection.
A poor wireless connection will cause you to lose connection.


So this is pretty much a solution, so I dont know if it will work for VMK but I guess it works for club penguin.

Btw vmk is 1,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than club penguin.

www.clubpenguin.com or go to www.miniclip.com and find club penguin. You should stay with VMK because you can only buy or do stuff if you are a member but you have to pay to be a member. You can make a free acount but it stinks you cant do anything.

I like Club Penguin. You can ask which state you live in, and if you are a boy or girl. (Without getting banned!) I thought that was pretty neat.

What does this have to do with VMK? Also being DC in VMK is really load balancing for the servers! No way to stop being DC in VMK!

Well i tried some of it earlier for tips on dcing in Club penguin and it got vmk to run a little better

It made us on the safe side! (also I don't mean saying I live in so and so in Illinois. Only the STATE. I think its neat to have friends in another state or country.)

If this was the case with VMK then it would not happen to EVERY SINGLE PERSON that played, just the people with the problems you mentioned. The DC's on VMK are timed too perfectly. Every 35-45 minutes usually, that would be way to coincendental for any reason other than purposely dc'ing people for server balancing.

It does not matter what type of connection you have or computer even if you had a direct line to VMK you would still dc.

I second Mal's EXACTLY!

VMK sets the dc times....... now some people may DC more often than VMK makes them dc (because of the above mentioned issues), but most DC's are set by VMK....

contrary to popular opinion, VMK does not "set DC times" - they probably could if they wanted. If they had set DC times then you would never, and I mean, never, be able to stay on longer than those times no matter who you are - the fact is that you can sometimes be on for hours before DC happens. As mentioned before, this is a load balancing issue. When the load is too great, there is a script in the VMK software which starts bumping off users, probably those who have been on the longest, but could have other variables as well, such as ammount of inactivity time, which is why the host rooms are so bad, you are technically inactive when waiting on a queue and the server sees that, hits the load limit and then sees you as having been inactive for 20 of the last 30 minutes and poof, you are gone. Clicking on the room non-stop probably shows you as inactive too since you charachter is not doing anything.

I have never, ever, been able to stay on for hours. I consistently dc between 35 - 45 minutes, every time I play.
