How to do you pack your magic bands?

In your carry on? Do you wear them during travel? Do you pack them in the box they came in? We have started packing but I haven't decided where they should go yet but am leaning towards just putting them all in my carry on with the travel documents.

You need to keep them in your carry on, and if you are using DME, wear them. They will be scanned at the airport.

We don't use DME but we will need them at check in at the resort. Sorry to ask such a dumb question but this is our first trip with magic bands.

You can just take them in your carry on bag.

I have a question about this too. If we go to the parks from the airport since we have an early flight is the only thing that is not hooked up the ability to charge to your room?

Can/should it not go through the X-ray machine or something? I am traveling from a different place then the rest of my travel party and I will have all the magic bands- I don't really want to wear 4 magic bands up my arm. Hahaha.

Dining credits would not be accessible, as well. How do you plan to get to the parks? You will need a parking pass if driving (to avoid the parking fee). You can check into your resort anytime after 6am. If your room is not ready, they can store your bags for you.

They can go through the machine. We left our bands in our carry on, and put them on after we got off the plane.

We remove our Magic Bands from the box they came in, then I adjust them as small I can, then place them in a coin purse size bag (ie, Vera Bradley).

They then go in my carry-on bag where once at the DME check in or the Resort I know exactly where they are.

We have not had any damage to the bands or the info on them.

BTW.. this is just for my DH and myself. Adjust your "bag/pouch" size accordingly.

Wearing them gives Disney free advertising. If you're taking DME it will be convenient to have them on and not have to fish around for them, but I sure wouldn't wear mine on the plane.

I just throw them in my carry on.

I cut the band section around the Mickey head off my DH's MB since he doesn't want to wear one at all, but needs it for golfing, charging and getting in the room. He keeps it in his pocket and hasn't had any problems with it working.

We have never paid for park parking if we were checking in later that day. I tell them we're checking in and have the reservation paper handy if they want to see it.
