How to determine best reward (Swag vs. Ebates)

For example, my son uses ProActive.
On Swagbucks the reward is 2000 swagbucks (plus a 'bonus' prize--don't know what that is)
on Ebates the reward is 30% cash back!

The basic three step Proactive is $20, so I figure that's $6 cash back from Ebates, but is there a way to figure what a Swagbuck is worth in cash terms?

I always get the $5 amazon for 450 swagbucks but you can only get 5 per month just fyi. If you want others-Target, paypal, etc it is 500 swagbucks for $5 giftcard.

Im not sure if you are aware of this but Swagbucks now ONLY offers gift cards as rewards. it's been that way for almost a month now because 99% of the rewards they give out end up being gift cards.

I've searched to try to buy through their site and can't find it anywhere.

Either I don't know where to look or it was a special offer that's not available anymore.
