My phone eats messages too...quite frequently..and a lot of the time it messes up and doesn't ring! The darn thing. I really should have it looked at, but I just like the phone too much to possibly have to get a different model. Yeah. That's it.

Bite the bullet and get it over with now.

Say something to the effect of "I really wish you luck with your new endeavor, but I am not able to be of any assistance to you. My schedule is full".

No matter what she says to try and change your mind, repeat that same sentence over & over again.

She'll get it eventually.
