How to copy and paste links?

When Pete asks the mods to post a message on our boards that contain a link I can't do it cause the links highlighted aren't links anymore, just black like rest of post, how do I get them to be links like the original posts? Thanks, you guys are so helpful.

Dee, after you get the main part of your new post ready, click on the link in the original post to get the address of the link you want to add, copy that, then paste it into your message. Finally, add the &lturl] tags at the front and back of the address.

That should do it.
