that a $500 picture of tinkerbell is absolutely crucial for my living room? My husband gets to pick out every piece of decor in my house (except the baby's room, although he lets his opinions be well known about that too!!!) I let him pick the drapery fabric, the couch, the flooring-goodness knows the TV-and he's getting the new playstation in Nov.-$600, OUCH. I found this Tink Glicee which is completely color cooridnate w/ my LR scheme and have been a Die hard tink fan since before she was everywhere- my folks used to SCOUR WDW looking for anything tink to buy me for holidays. He bought me a tink sketch at DTD for our first anniversary (paper) and has hung it in the hallway so he's not opposed to having her up but something tells me he is not going to believe that I will absolutely DIE without this piece of art!

I think you answered your own question. If he gets the PS3, you get the Tink. And I'm a guy too, so there's no discriminating going on here. :)

The new playstation is going to cost 600.00?? I guess I'll be playing on my PS2 for awhile longer yet.

Yeah, my 2 DSS want PS3. I told them at that price, I'll get it for them when PS4 comes out.

I'm a guy... Point out that the Tink pic will not be "old tech" in three years!

Also mention that the Tink pic is something you really want, and that there will come a time when there is something he really wants...

Works for me!

Yeah, the ps3 is $500 or $600. It has a blue ray chip- the latest in dvd technology. blue ray players are about $1000 right now. Although it's a sony (samsung) product so only sony pictures dvd's are available on blue ray right now and they're 25-35 bucks a pop. BUT our ps2 was stolen (along with my portable dvd player, my husbands razor-ew, our copy of 8 Mile and a half empty 2 liter of mt. Dew- which my husband would like the punk who stole it to know he back washed in) SO ps3 fills the void and allows us to see if this whole blue ray thing catches on. I told him aout the pic last night and he said e-mail me the link and I'll look at it. I didn't think to mention the ps3-but it will be a good leg to stand on, thanks for that!

After a few weeks of no Boom-Boom, I think he will change his point of view.

No Boom-Boom for me, and my wife gets exactly what she wants. It just takes her longer.

LOL :) :lmao:

Would also love to see a picture of the Tinker Bell giclee if possible.

I have one, it's by Salvati.........Tink is sitting in front of a candle stick.

I found a picture of mine.

Good luck. My DH would have my head mounted on the wall if I spent that kind of money on a picture. :lmao:
