How to clean a leather purse, inexpensively?

I found a great budget buy! At Goodwill, I bought a leather Nine West backpack type bag. It's not actually dirty, but I'd feel better if I could clean it, or "sanitize" it somehow. Are there any possible ways to clean it without damaging it?

Yes. Purchase a leather cleaner and follow the directions. I'm not trying to be a smarty...I don't have any at the moment or I'd tell you what it says.

i clean my white leather furniture with dove soap on a soft cloth then wipe it off then dry with another soft cloth. hth.
